recycling. Individual members are sorting their trash and
hauling their recyclables into Montgomery.
By making small changes in your daily habits you can have a positive
impact on Lowndes County environment.
Project Clean-Up: Lowndes Citizens United
for Action organizes community clean-ups throughout Lowndes
County.
Every 4th Saturday we meet at LCUFA headquarters at 8 a.m. to
clean up our "Adopt-A-Mile" on Highway 21 north of Hayneville.
As we
share our organizing skills with each community, we will encourage
and inspire those communities to continue with four clean-ups per
year on their own. People who pick up trash are less likely to
litter.

volunteer and help us keep Lowndes County clean, contact
