Celebrate Earth Day in Beautiful Lowndes County

 

Come celebrate Earth Day with Lowndes Citizens United for Action (LCUFA) on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our headquarters on Highway 21 North of Hayneville.

 

Participants will enjoy free food and great prizes and will learn about recycling and other environmental issues.  This event is family-oriented so bring the kids.

 

LCUFA hopes to bring awareness of the benefits of recycling and keeping the earth clean and green.  LCUFA has partnered with WildLaw, a nonprofit environmental law firm; Legacy; PALS, Cornerstone Community Foundation and Southern Partners Fund with this Earth Day celebration.
