LOWNDES CITIZENS UNITED FOR
ACTION (LCUFA) TO HOST POLITICAL CANDIDATE FORUM
LCUFA will host a
Political Candidate Forum for:
Lowndes County
Commission - Districts 2, 3 and 5
Lowndes County
Board of Education - District 5
The community is
invited to come meet and questions the candidates.
Participants
will make short statements regarding their candidacy and then
receive questions from the public.
The event will
be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the REACH Mobile
Units Highway 21 North of Hayneville..
The moderator
for the event is Andrea Rogers Price.
Lowndes Citizens
United for Action (LCUFA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan community
group whose mission is to bring information and education to Lowndes
County.
LCUFA meetings
are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. and are open
to all citizens of Lowndes County.
LCUFA’s current
projects are environmental justice and open government.
